adidas have unveiled the latest edition of their famed Predator collection, bringing to life new technology on a vibrant red canvas. The Predator 25 blends legacy and innovativity, upgrading an unforgettable look into the perfect shoe for a modern day goalscorer.
Complemented by a striking red, the newest instalment of the Predator is bold in every way. The design pays homage to the Predator Accelerator of 1998 – worn by the likes of Zinedine Zidane and David Beckham – with wavy black lines weaved through the brand’s three stripes.
2025’s shoe, however, is handcrafted for the stars of tomorrow, utilising the latest technology to ensure some of the biggest names in the game continue to break records and smash expectations.
For those that crave nostalgia, the Predator 25 is, of course, finished with a fold over tongue – equipped with added elements for improved strike and protection.
Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham will sport this new design on the pitch, while Barcelona stars Pedri and Aitana Bonmatí are also expected to impress in the Predator 25.
Arsenal forward Alessia Russo, another athlete who has made waves in adidas’ bespoke designs, has admitted she is ready to turn heads in 2025.
“For me the Predator boot is about being bold and making a statement on the pitch,” she said. “From how it supports your goals to how iconic its design is. The tongue, which is hands down my favourite thing about it, is even better on this one, and the colourway is something else – I’m buzzing to play in it this year and see what I can do in front of goal.”
The Predator 25 will be available from 9 January.
